This is my second ExOfficio tech shirt and I like this one better than the first. While the first also has back ventilation and a vented pocket in front, this shirt adds pit vents to the mix. Also, this shirt comes with the tie backs on the sleeves, which is very handy. The fabric is light and cool and I look forward to wearing it when it warms back up again. The shirt itself seems well made and tightly stitched, which I've come to expect form ExOfficio. The color is nice - not the overall orange that it looks to be in the picture - much lighter feel in person. I ordered this color only because it was on sale, but I do, in fact like it.I have found that ExOfficio makes great travel shirts and great warm-weather shirts. This one fits that description and I highly recommend it!A nice lightweight shirt for hot climates. Good size pockets (although a little smaller than the Air Strip Lite of 2014 - it would fit a Kindle paperwhite).. The material feels like nylon although it wicks reasonably well, I much preferred the brushed finish of the old Lite version.I don't believe that the side vents give an additional ventilation, but do unfortunately let in grass seeds which are difficult to get out of the mesh lining. This was exactly the shirt I was looking for and it was delivered quickly.I haven't had a chance to wear this shirt in really hot climates, but I generally like and trust Exofficio products. I bought this shirt because the design features addressed problem areas I've experienced first hand in tropical climates: an adjustable cape vent for back perspiration, side panel strips to ventilate the torso area, and long sleeves & collar extension to prevent sunburn. Add a pair of velcro flap pockets and a hidden zippered compartment and you've got a well designed, quick drying travel shirt.I have many brands as XL in size and this one is certainly larger. The neck line is huge and clumsy, if you can say that about a shirt? And I hate how high you have to pull the sleeves up in order to use the hooks--who rolls their sleves up to their arm pits? I like the patter and that's about it.Although they're a bit expensive, they are great looking, comfortable and durable shirts. I've been using these shirts for over 5 years and have been very satisfied!Amazingly comfortable. Dries extremely fast and really cool. Air flows through it like crazy, it's like wearing an AC unit! Can even wash it in a sink and it's ready to go in the morning. Stylish too, can easily wear it out at night.Love these shirts. Hiking in Georgia in the summer I need sun protection, and I still need good ventilation. Dries quick and holds up to washings. A quality product.
